current activity: watching some stupid video so i can apply for a scholarship
goal for today: make a lot of progress on my mineralogy labs
i'm looking forward to... getting back home after working on labs
i'm feeling grateful for... feeling a little less overwhelmed lately
notes: feeling ambitious due to a series of events today. i want to do research in a program my college has but i have to remember i'm taking it slow and just trying to survive classes right now. there is a summer research program that i could do without having to also try to balance homework and everything, so i could look into that depending on how this semester and the spring semester go. currently my gpa is solid because transferring schools gave me a clean slate, so if i can keep it up for two semesters i'll feel a lot more confident about looking into research opportunities etc. right now i just need to do my best in my classes and work as much as i can
