feeling nostalgic lately. my friends are all graduating and moving away. i’d already moved away, but now there’s nothing tethering me to [old college town] and i’m not driving three hours to visit all the time. it’s like something is finally ending completely. i don’t know, i just keep thinking of lasts. last diy show in [old college town], last visit to friend’s apartment, last time going over the speedbumps that threaten to destroy your car’s undercarriage (no way those are up to code). my friendships are going to be mostly over the phone excepting occasional visits and each visit will be a big expensive ordeal. i still have two years before i graduate due to the setbacks i faced from 2021-2023 and a bunch of my credits not transferring, so i feel a little left behind as well. i’m optimistic for the future but saying my final goodbyes to that period of my life feels odd
